Waitstill Strong was married first to Sarah Janes on 19 Dec 1701 in Northampton. They were the parents of one son, Waitstill Jr., b. 1704, d. 1792. Sarah died in 1705.
History of Northampton, MA, J. R. Trumbull; "Waitstill Strong was a farmer at Northampton and a large landholder. He is recorded as having sold his 300 acres at Cold Spring [ Belchertown] in 1727-8 for 48£. 31/2 shillin per acre.
Waitstill Strong was a Serg't in Father Rales War serving 3 weeks in 1722, 7 weeks in 1724 and 7 weeks in 1725. He was also listed in Kings George's War serving after the fall of Louisburg 1746/48."
He married Mindwell Bartlett 7 March 1708, they were the parents of Submit Strong who married Jonathan Clap.
