Birth Certificate: Rochelle Marie McGuire

I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota (Hibbing). My parents moved my two brothers and I to Southern California in 1968.

I spent the next 37 years living in California with 20 of those years spent working for Universal Television at Universal Studios. I resigned in 2000 to be a stay-at-home-mom. My daughter Lindsay was 12 years old and my step-daughter, Kiffin was 17 at the time. I spent the next 6 years driving Lindsay and her fellow players to softball practices, lessons and games. We traveled across the nation going to National playoff series every summer. It was our social network.

Kiffin went to the University of California, Davis and graduated with a degree in Genetics in 2005. She is now living in Denver, Colorado with her fiancé Scott Champlin and will be married in September 2013 at San Luis Obispo, California. She works in Forensics. for the state of Colorado. As of 2021 they have two daughters Brynn 5 and Anna 3.

Lindsay graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2010 majoring in Psychology. Moved to Iowa in 2010 where she studied and received her Masters in School Counseling at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She married Jeremy Whaley in June 2015. As of 2021 they are living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with their 5 year old daughter Harper. Lindsay is a middle school counselor.

Don took over the presidency of a family-owned cotton company in Columbia, South Carolina in 2003. He took the company from the edges of bankruptcy to solvency in 5 years. The company was then given back to the family to run. When that door shut another opened......

We moved to Iowa where Don was the National Sales Director for Renewable Energy Group in Ames, Iowa. Their business is biodiesel and it's been a new challenge for him after 30+ years in the cotton industry.

We bought our new house in October 2008 in Ankeny, Iowa (20 miles south of Ames and 10 miles north of Des Moines). It's nice to be back in the midwest, just hours south of so much of my family.

Don retired in September 0f 2018 and we now live in Swisher, Iowa, just south of Cedar Rapids.
