Shirley Salisbury

SALISBURY, Shirley Edna After a brief illness Shirley passed away at home on Monday, December 13, 2010 in her 81st year Predeceased by her husband Douglas (1990). Very dear mother of Wayne (Charlotte) and John (Nora). Shirley will be very sadly missed by her grandchildren Raquel, Jason and John. She will be fondly remembered by her many other family and friends. Shirley had worked as a recreational director at the Victoria Nursing Home for several years. Visitation will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street, N., (905-544-1147) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. from the chapel, with visiting from 3 p.m. until service time. A reception will follow our service in the reception suite of the funeral home. At Shirley’s request cremation is to take place. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
