He  was not the husband on Prudence FitzRandolph!  His  cousin Shubal Smith was born January 02, 1692/93 and died May 31, 1768  son of Samuel Smith and Elizabeth Pierce. married her on 17 Mar 1716   she was the daughter of  daughter of SAMUEL FITZ RANDOLPH and MARY JONES.  She was born August 20, 1696 and died July 12, 1766.

Also some having him marrying Sarah Adamse (Brouwer) Smith - and also his brother Thomas doing same - There is no documentation for this that I have seen.

  • (3) Anne Samson 12 Oct 1725; she was the dau. of James and Hannah Samson of Portsmouth, R.I. He d. 5 Apr. 1734 and his will 10 Feb. 1734 was pro. 7 May 1734.
