Sibbel (Isabella) Gore

Will of Michael Gore, L 5, F 96, Baltimore County Maryland, Maryland Archives, Annapolis, MD. names his wife and children. I have, at this time, (January 1997) found no will found for Sibbel, nor have I found any record of her parentage. Family tradition has it, as stated in a letter from Alfred Gore, grandson of Michael, to his Neice, Inez Gore, great granddaughter of Michael, that Michael and Sibbel met on shipboard, coming to America, and married upon reaching Maryland. I, also, have found no record of their marriage, though it is certain that they did marry.
