Sidney Walter Hope, Sr.

Sidney was the son of William Henry and Avis (Towns) Hope. He had six brothers: Ivor, James, Fred, George, John "Jack" and Leslie "Bob". He married Dorothy Davis in Cleveland on July 28, 1928.

Sidney in early years had been a bus driver. He was also a fine mechanic. After moving to a small farm in Ohio he spent much time repairing cars. His death was indirectly due to an injury while working on a car.

Sidney married Dorothy probably in the early 30's. Their children are: Dorthy May, Leslie (Corky), Avis, Fred and Margo.
