About Simeón Mandac
Simeón Mandac was a Filipino politician. He served as Governor of Ilocos Norte from January 1, 1910 to August 13, 1910, when he was removed after being convicted of homicide for fatally kicking a Filipino prisoner in the stomach, and was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment, and was additionally sentenced to 20 years imprisonment after pleading guilty to rebellion, but he was conditionally pardoned by Francis Burton Harrison in 1916. He served again at the same position from October 16, 1931 to October 16, 1934.
