Simon Couch b. 1633.
One of four of that name, Couch, who came to Connecticut, not so early, from England.
Samuel, of Milford probably a brother.
Thomas, died Wethersfield as of 1665, d. Wethersfield 1687, was a brother. Simon Couch left a legacy to his children and one of the children, Thomas Jr., was living with Simon, his uncle upon his decease (as named in the will). Also in Simon's will he mentions his brothers daughter living at John Grummond's and cousin Susannah. This could be Thomas's oldest daughter, age 20. Simon and Thomas both named their children the same names, save Rebecca the name of Thomas's first wife.
Simon died 1687. He married Mary Andrews, daughter of Francis Andrews.

Simon Couch (Crouch) was born on 12 Apr 1633 in West Devon, England to parents Lewis Couch and Isot Maine. He married Mary Frances Andrews. Children: Thomas, Simon, Samuel, Mary, Martha, Hannah.

He died on 15 Mar 1687 in Fairfield, Connecticut, and was buried in land belonging to him at Forest Point, looking out upon the Sound, which he had set apart as a family burial place and which was long known as the Couch Burial Hill.
