Does his daughter marry Lulach, Macbeth's stepson? See Discussion
Shakespeare has Macbeth say “By Sinel’s death I know I am Thane of Glamis” - which could be alluding to a connection through his stepson’s wife (Finghualla of Angus daughter of Sinhill) - seems a bit of a stretch and Shakes uses Holinshed as his source (and Holinshed has Sinel as Macbeth's father - married to Doada) - who is often out. Eg Glamis, if I recall, didn't exist in Macbeth's time. [Sharon 2012]
"Sinill" may represent a Scottish development of the probably-Welsh name Cinhil (the Welsh used a hard C), which in turn derived from the Roman "Quintilius", fifth.
