• Sir Alexander Gordon was born circa 1477 at of Kenmure and Lochinvar, Scotland. He married Janet Douglas, daughter of William Douglas, 4th Baron Drumlanrig and Elizabeth Crichton, after 14 November 1491.2 Sir Alexander Gordon married Janet Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy, 2nd Lord Kennedy and Elizabeth Gordon, before 1 June 1500. Sir Alexander Gordon married Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of James IV Stewart, King of Scotland and Janet Kennedy, before 4 October 1512.3 Sir Alexander Gordon died on 9 September 1513 at Battle of Flodden Field.

• Sir Alexander Gordon of Kenmure and Lochinvar, younger married, firstly, Janet Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy, 2nd Lord Kennedy and Lady Elizabeth Gordon.2 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.2
