- Edward Burnell was the son of Sir Hugh Burnell, 2nd Lord Burnell.1 He married, firstly, Alienore Strange.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth de la Pole, daughter of Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk.1 He died on 23 September 1415 at Harfleur, France, from disease.1
