Sir Edward William Lindsay-Hogg, 4th Bt. was born on 23 May 1910.2 He was the son of William Lindsay-Hogg and Nora Cicely Barrow.2 He married, firstly, Geraldine Mary Fitzgerald, daughter of Edward Martin Fitzgerald, on 18 November 1936.2 He and Geraldine Mary Fitzgerald were divorced in 1946.2 He married, secondly, Kathleen Mary Cooney, daughter of James Cooney, on 30 October 1957.2 He died on 18 June 1999 at age 89.2

He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was a jockey, playwright and author.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hogg, of Rotherfield Hall, Rotherfield, co. Sussex [U.K., 1905] in 1987.2
