"Sir Hector Maclean Hay, Baronet [S. 1703], 1st s. and h., b. 28 March 1821 ; suc. to the Baronetcy, 30 July 1873. He was sometime a partner in the firm of Mocatta and Goldsniid, Bullion Brokers of London. He m. firstly, 9 Feb. 1852, at All Souls, Langham place, Marylebone, Anne Charlotte, widow of Lieut.- Col. Lewis Charles Bikd, East India Company's Service, da. of Dr. John White, 17th Light Dragoons. She d. 24 July 1888, at "Halton," 18 Upper Richmond Road, Putney. He m. secondly, 24 Jan. 1889, Julia, widow of William Johnson, of Appleby, co. Lincoln."
