- ' Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 2 July 1662.3 He was the son of Sir Robert Pringle of Stichill, 1st Bt. and Margaret Hope.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 2nd Bt. and Magdalen Eliott was signed on 19 July 1688.1 He died in April 1721 at age 58.1
