• ' Sir Robert Pringle of Stichill, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 6 October 1690.3 He was the son of Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 2nd Bt. and Magdalen Eliott.2 He married Katherine Pringle, daughter of James Pringle of Torwoodlee, in 1723.1 He died on 14 December 1779 at age 89.1
• ' He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Pringle, of Stichill [N.S., 1683] in April 1721.1
