About Solomon Pinkney Brewer
Solomon P "Pink" Brewer migrated from Tennessee to Oregon County Missouri in the 1850's with parents Joseph Brewer and Elizabeth Robertson Brewer. There he married Mary A Felker on 02 Feb 1860.
While living in Oregon, Mo. children Joseph, Nancy, John J. and Virginia were born. The 1880 census for Collin, Texas shows daughter Martha was born Jan 1880 in Texas, plus two more sons David Crockett and Mack D.
We do not have the date of death for Mary Felker or a place of burial. She was the daughter of John A Felker
- 37766367.
It is thought that the son Mack born about 1889 might be the child of a new wife.
We do know that Solomon did marry again to Martha Emmaline Campbell. She and Solomon had one daughter Minnie Maud born in 1893.
Solomon served in the civil war as Cavalryman with the Fristoe Unit in Arkansas. Military records indicate that he was at Jackson Port Arkansas. His record describes him as having fair hair and complexion with blue eyes.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Jan 28 2024, 19:27:53 UTC
