Sophia van Niekerk (1926 - 1990)

Sophia (63), and her husband Gert van Niekerk (77), were assailed by three men on their farm Dwarsfontein in the Delmas district. Sophia was shot dead, while Gert was assaulted and robbed on 23rd March 1990.

Her murder was under investigation by the police during the early 1990's, but no further reports can be found.
