The Annales Lubicenses names "Agnetem filiam marchionis de Brandenborch, sororis Ottonis marchionis cum thelo et Hinrici marchionis dicti ane land"[337]. "Otto…Brandenburg et de Landesberg marchio" granted Schloß Querfurt to the bishop of Brandenburg, with the consent of "fratris nostri Hinrici…patruelium nostrorum Johannis et Wolmari, de Brandenburg et de Landesberg Marchionum", by charter dated 10 Jan 1305[338]. married ([Nov 1298/19 May 1303], Papal dispensation Anagni 19 May 1303) as her second husband, AGNES von Bayern, widow of HEINRICH Landgraf von Hessen, daughter of LUDWIG II "der Strenge" Duke of Bavaria, Pfalzgraf bei Rhein & his third wife Mechtild von Habsburg ([1276/78]-22 Jul 1345). He succeeded his father in 1322 as HEINRICH II "der Junge" Herzog von Braunschweig-Grubenhagen.

MAGNUS von Braunschweig, son of ALBRECHT II "der Fette/der Feiste" Herzog von Braunschweig und Lüneburg in Göttingen und Braunschweig & his wife Richza von Werle ([1304]-[15 Jun/15 Aug] 1369, bur Lüneburg St Michaelis). He succeeded his father in 1318 as MAGNUS I "der Fromme" joint Herzog von Braunschweig in Braunschweig und Göttingen, jointly with his two brothers. “Otto dux in Bruneswich necnon Magnus et Ernestus fratres eius” donated property to Hildesheim by charter dated 1 Jul 1321[338]. After the death of their older brother Otto, Magnus and his younger brother Ernst agreed on a partition of their territories, Magnus becoming Herzog von Braunschweig in Braunschweig 1345. Botho’s Chronicon Brunsvicensium Picturatum records the death in 1368 of “Hertoghe Magnus vader de olde Hertoghe Magnus”[339]. Sophie von Brandenburg

Sophia of Brandenburg-Stendal (1300–1356) was a daughter of Margrave Henry I (1256–1318) and his wife Agnes of Bavaria (1276–1345).

In 1327, she married Duke Magnus "the Pious" of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1304–1369), Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg. The following children reached adulthood:

Sophie von Brandenburg was the daughter of Heinrich I Markgraf von Brandenburg and Agnes von Bayern. She married Magnus I Herzog von Braunschweig, son of Albrecht II Herzog von Braunschweig-Göttingen and Rixa von Werle, circa 1327. She died circa 1356.
