About Stefan Smit

Stefan Smit (1957 – 2019)

When Stefan’s father started farming there in 1948, he planted 640 hectares under the vine. Louisenhof Wines can be found outside Stellenbosch and is currently owned by Stefan Smit who aims to produce wines in harmony with nature.
