Stina Piper

Christina "Stina" Charlotta Piper was a Swedish freight manager and countess.

She was the daughter of Carl Fredrik Piper and Ulrika Christina Mörner af Morlanda. She was the granddaughter of Christina Piper.

In 1754 she married Erik Brahe, who was executed in 1756 for participating in the queen's failed Coup of 1756. Piper, who was pregnant at the time of her husband's execution, tried several times to get a more lenient sentence for her husband.

Piper had two children with Brahe: Ulrika Juliana and Magnus Fredrik Brahe. As a widow, Piper successfully managed the estates belonging to her son and step-sons' inheritance during their minority.

During her years as a widow, she had a relationship with her cousin Carl Ribbing af Koberg (1718-1773) , with whom she had three children between 1762 and 1769 who where raised in foster homes.

In 1773, she married riksråd Ulrik Scheffer, a political opponent to Erik Brahe. As the wife of riksråd Scheffer, Piper was given the title riksrådinna and as such had a role in the Swedish royal court's etiquette and ceremonial activities.

In 1783, the couple retired back to the Stora Ek estate. Scheffer died in 1799, after which Piper returned to Stockholm where she died a year later.

Kristina Charlotta (Stina) Piper föddes 27 januari 1734 på Riddarholmen i Stockholm. Hon dog 7 januari 1800 på Eks säteri, Mariestad. Hon gifte sig 1754 med Erik Brahe född 1722 och död genom halshuggning 1756. Efter hans död födde hon deras son Magnus Fredrik Brahe 1756.

I sin utomäktenskapliga förbindelse med Carl Ribbing ( f 1718- d 1773) hade hon tre barn: Amalia Sofia Carlstedt (1768-1854) Carl Carlstedt (1769- ) Mariana Carlstedt

1773 gifte hon sig med Ulrik Scheffer (1716-1799) på Stora Ek, Mariestad. Godset ärves eftersom de inte hade några egna barn av styvsonen Magnus Brahe (1756 - 1826)
