Her death, after a lingering illness, occurred at 12:10 a.m. Thursday at the Jones nursing home.
Born in Camden Sept 6, 1871, she was the daughter of Jesse and Elizabeth B.. Shanks Leslie
Her marriage was to Alfred Dicke erson, who died March 1, 1941
Survivors are four sons and two daughters: 'Roy and Lee Downey, Calif.; Arthur, 431 Wheatland; John, 1721 Market; Mrs. June Thompson, San Gabriel, Calif.; Mrs. Wayne Smith, 16 1/2 Richardville; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Two sons died in infancy and a third, Leslie, died June 11, 1944, while serving in World War IL."

Mrs. Alfred P. Dickerson, 87, of 23 East Columbia st, died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday at the Jones nursing home after a lingering illness.
The former Susie P. Leslie, she was born in Camden Sept. 6, 1871, the daughter of Jesse and Elizabeth B. Shanks Leslie. Her husband died March 1, 1941.
Survivors are four sons, Roy and Lee, Downey, Calif.; Arthur, 431 Wheatland; John, 1721 East Market st.; two daughters, Mrs. June Thompson, San Gabriel, Calif., and Mrs. Wayne Smith, 16 1/2 Richardville st.; eight randchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Two sons died in infancy and one, Leslie, died in the service in the Second World War.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCIoskey-Hamilton funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Wiegand officiating. Burial will be in the Camden cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday."
