Not the same as Susan Price

Note: Susan as the wife of the (instant) William Price and the mother of Robert Price needs additional research and verification.

She is the descendant of Sir William Tracy who died about 1531. See Rootsweb / Worldconnect - William Tracy 1792, August 25, 2001 - Doug Tracy . Susan is the daughter of Sir Paul (Nathaniel) Tracy b. 23 Feb 1556 in Stanway Cuort, Gloucestershire, England. His AFN is HRCV-6T.

Marriage 1 William Price b: 1606 in Wales, England

Has Children Robert Price b: ABT 1640 in VA.

This labels William Price as 'esquire,' and as being from Winchester, England. I think this William Price, married to Susan Tracy, may be a different one than the one who accompanied his father to Virginia.

In 'North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000, The Tracy Family / The Winslow Family,' it says that the Susan Tracy who was the daughter of Sir Paul Tracy, baronet, was: "Born about 1606, married to William Price of Winchester, one of the grooms of the King's Privy Chamber. She died March 13, 1632, "before she had been married full 14 weeks." "

So, this means that they were married sometime in December, 1631. I don't know if she died in England, but I think that if she died in Virginia, this would've been mentioned.
