Susan's baptism record shows a slightly different name for her mother, and her father's name is recorded incorrectly as Joseph instead of George. She is recorded as George's daughter on his DN so after consultation, we have agreed the most likely scenario is a recording error (PH/SV-H/JNR)

HOWEVER: Something is maybe off here? If she was a widow of 40, at the time of the 2nd marriage, that would make her birthdate as 1866 not 1863. Maybe just a recording mistake?
OR: Do we maybe have two profiles of 2 Susans here?
Also - if you take in to consideration that her dad's name on the baptism was noted as a Joseph and not George McD?

So, for what it is worth, I think the years of birth being different are not an issue. They are close enough to not concern me, and as for the actual DoB, we have the baptism record which although showing a wrong father's name has the correct mother's name so I think it is a recording error on the part of the priest. Her DoB is given as 29 May 1863...

Now I think Susan married a third time at 57years - xxx this time to Andries Yssel in 1920

So she celebrated her correct day and month of birth but had her year of birth incorrect... the same kind of thing happened with my GGF and and aunt and others in the family, so I believe that to be the case here.
