About Susanna Maria Catharina Joubert
Sannie met and married George Richard Eric Mace while he was in Roberts Heights Military Hospital - Pretoria. He was paralyzed from the waist down due to injuries received during the 2nd World War. George died in 1959 and a few years later she married his younger brother Basil Douglas Anthony Mace.
In the late 1960 years she purchased a Dog Chain Manufacturing business from her brother-in-law, John George Cheney. When she died, her 3rd husband, Basil Mace continued with it until his death in 2004.
