Susanna Reck

Daughter of Solomon J. H. Snyder, founder of Monrovia, Kansas and Susan Winklepleck.

The Atchison Daily Champion, 16 May 1895, Thursday Mrs. Sue Reck, formerly Miss Sue Snyder, wife of Frank Reck and daughter of S. J. H. Snyder, deceased, of Monrovia, died at Trinidad, Colo., Monday the 13th inst. The remains will be brought to Monrovia for burial and will reach there today. The funeral will take place at Monrovia Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Mrs. Reck will be remembered by many of Atchison's older citizens, as at one time she lived in the city. Her husband is a brother of Mrs. J. H. Talbott. She has lived in Colorado many years, having gone there early in the sixties. She leaves many sorrowing friends in Kansas.
