Susannah Hanby

Susanna Daniel was born circa 1642.2 She married Richard Hanby II, son of Mr. Richard Hanby I and Margery (-----), before 13 March 1664 at Northampton Co, VA.3 As of before 13 March 1664,her married name was Hanby.3 Susanna Daniel was named in a deed of gift on 13 March 1664 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that John Daniels of N'hampt Co came to the office with his sister Susanne Hanby to record his gift of a black heifer to Daniel Hanby son of Richard Hanby & Susanna his wife.3 Susanna was named in her husband's will on 22 August 1682 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as my wife Susanna Hanby in the will of Richard Hanby.2 She deeded land in 1697 at tract N41, N.E. of Cheriton, Northampton Co, VA. It was in this year that Susannah Hanby deeded 50 acres each to the 3 boys (Daniel, Richard & John), Richard to have the "ancient plantacon" where their father had lived and this was probably was on the seaside.4
