Suzanne Helen Perich (Letica)

I was born the eldest of 5 children and grew up on a dairy farm at Karaka in South Auckland. We milked cows for Town Supply which meant that we were milking 7 days a week. My parents were both from Podgora, so when I started school, I couldn't speak english. I turned 20 on my honeymoon. From then on, I lived in Herne Bay. Our Herne Bay business was sold in 1958. I joined my husband in Zivogosce in 1959, his first return to see his mother and family. We continued living in Herne Bay, bringing up our two daughters.
