Tembi Crosfield

Research by Sarisa van Niekerk: I am a student from the University of Pretoria who is doing research for a project on the late JC Smuts. From my research, I picked up that he was friends with the late Prof DDT Jabavu with whom he was mutual friends with the Gilletts and Clarks. from the correspondences between the Gilletts and Smuts, I read of Nontando (Noni) Jabavu, Prof DDT Jabavu's daughter, who stayed at the Gilletts when she went to school in England. From my archival research I found out that [her grandfather and she] used to write a lot to each other (she used to sign her letters as "Chicken") and there is not a lot of information about him.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me any information about Tembi as well as her Mother and Grandfather.
