The daughter of my ancestors, CAPT. JOHN & DESIRE (HOWLAND) GORHAM, she married (1) Edward Sturgis, Jr. in March of 1663 at Yarmouth, Barnstable, Mass. and (2) Thomas Baxter on January 27, 1679/80 and died in her 67th year.
