Theresa Stadler, 78, Topeka, died Fri., Jan. 6, 2006. Theresa was born Mar. 30, 1927 in Emmett, KS to the late Matthew and Margaret McCormick Browne. She grew up in St. Marys. On June 17, 1950, Theresa and Paul Stadler were married at Sacred Heart Church in Topeka where she remained a parishioner. She retired from the State of Kansas after 25 years of service Survivors include, her children, Mary Albright (Gary), Great Bend, Ruth Holmes (Derrill), Albany OR, Theresa Huslig, and Paul Stadler II (Joan), both of Wichita, Gina Scott (Dan), Manhattan, Margaret McDonald (Tom), Berryton, and Barb Hilger (Peter), Inola OK; one sister, Kathleen Browne and one brother, Florian Browne, both of Topeka; and 27 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; two infant children; brothers, Matthew, John, Sr., Dave and Tom Browne; one sister, Mary Ellen Browne and son-in-law Jim Huslig. Mrs. Stadler will lie in state and family will greet friends from 3 to 7 Mon. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where a parish rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 Tues. at the church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
