1. Thomas A. Tryber Sr. was the son of an August Trzebiatowski -

2. Name was changed from Trzebiatowski to Tryber - As supported through linkages from the marriage to

    Cecylia Ptaszynski and 1910 US Census

3. Thomas A. Tryber Sr. is the father to Thomas A. Tryber Jr., Hillary Melburne Tryber, and August Donald

    Tryber

4. GF- Tryber was a Painter - Verified with Thomas A Tryber Jr (TAT Jr)and the Racine City Directory

5. Thomas A Tryber Sr. - Death - 1928

    a. Cause of Death:  Suicide by taking carbolic acid.

    b. Place of Death:  St. Mary's Hospital, Racine, WI

    c. Age at Death:  42 Years, 11 moonths and 21 days

    d. Date of Death: 11/30/1928

    e. Date of interment: 12/03/1928

    f. Medical Attendant: W. F. Kisow, Coroner

    g. Undertaker: P. Christianson

    h. Buried in:  Graceland Cemetary - His grave site is to the middle of a fork as you drive into Graceland.

        There are two concrete stones, with no markings.   Thomas A.Tryber Sr. is buried past (West) of the

        second stone.

6. August Donald Tryber was named after his GF August Trzebiatowski

7. GM-Tryber's maiden name is Dietelbach, although we have seen spellingof the name vary. (See Esther Tryber)

8. Somewhere between 05/15/1907 and April 30, 1910, GF-Tryber changed the surname from

     Trzebiatowski to Tryber.   It is not known at this time whether other Trzebiatowski's changed their

     names to Tryber or if  it is just a coinsidence that there areother Tryber's in Chicago.

9. 1916 - Death - Wake held in Tomasz Tryber's home for brother-in-law Andrzej Ptaszynski. Andrzej

     Ptaszynski died of failing kidneys while he was serving his eighth year in the US Armed Forces,

     with the last five years as a sergeant.

10. Name: Thomas A Tryber - 1910 US Census

     Home in 1920:  Racine, Wisconsin

     Age in 1920 Census:  34

     Birth Year: 1885

     Born in: Illinois

     Married to:  Esther Braley-Tryber

11. Something happened to Cecylia (Cecilia) between the wake for Andrzej Ptaszynski, in August 1916,

      and the 1920 US Census, when the Census shows Thomas married to Esther.

A. Parents:

   1. Father: August Trzebiatowski

   2. Mother: Eva Wylezska

B. Siblings:

   1. On February 21st, 1880, an unamed daughter was born to August and Eva Trzebiatowski.

       Noted on the Birth Certificate "Number of Child of this Mother 4", with the place of birth as, "72 Try" or

       "72 Fry".   The place of birth was also the residence of the mother.   The father was 40 Years old, and

       the mother was 27.   We have a copy of this birth certificate.

Other siblings are registered in the 1900 US Census. See note,dated 03/24/2005, in August Trzebiatowski's

       Sources.

2. Cook County, State of Illinois, was unable to find any birth certificate for Tomasz A. Trzebiatowski, or other

       siblings.   There was one birth certificate for an unamed daughter.

       Other Info:  Many births were performed by Midwife's.   In a lot of cases Midwife's did not necessarily

       fill out paperwork for births, thus no birth certificate on file.

C. Marriages:

   1. On  May 15th, 1907, Thomas A. Trzebiatowski was married to CeciliaJ. Ptaszynska.   It is stated on the

       Marriage Certificate that each were 22 years old.   They were married in Holy Innocents Catholic

       Church, Chicago, IL.   Based on this information he was born in1885.

       Volume 1,  Page 25, Film 1704697, Item 4 - This is Thomas A Tryber prior to the name change.

2. On December 30, 1918, Thomas A. Tryber married Esther Braley (SeeEsther Tryber)

       Marriage License - Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin

       - Married in the Court House

       - On December 30, 1918 - by a Judge

       - Witnessed by C. O. Beczener

       - Esther married Thomas A. Tryber

       - Maiden name shown is Braily.   Born in Ohio

       - Mothers Maiden Name: Irene Parmlee

       - John (Jack Mason) was listed as guardian of Esther.  John Mason was not the paternal father of Esther

         Braily.

       - At this point, Esther's paternal father is unknown.

D. U.S. Census

   1. 1910 US Census: Name: Thomas A Tryber - Home in 1910: Chicago,Cook County, IL, Ward 27, District

       1186, Page 50 of 64, Line 40 & 41

       - Age in 1910: 26

       - Birth Year: 1883

       - Born in: Illinois

       - Married to: Cecylia Ptaszynski-Tryber - Age 26

       - Soundex Series - T624, Roll 270, Part: 1, Page 159A

       - According to the copy of the 1910 Census page, he was married to Aecylia J. Ptaszinski.   After

          researching found that there was an error in copying his wifes name.   Instead of Aecylia, it should

          be Cecylia.   Her full name is Cecylia  J. Ptaszynski..

       - Thomas and Cecylia were married on 05/15/1907, in Holy Innocents Church, one of the Polish

         Parishes in  Chicago.

       - The Marriage Index can be found in http:/www.pgsa.org, then go to Databases and look for the

          Marriage Index for Polish Parishes in Chicago through 1915.Then type in Trzebiatowski as the

          surname.

       - They were registered as residents of Chicago, Cook County, IL,Ward 27.

2. In the 1920 U.S. Census they listed Tryber, Thos A.,

       - Home in 1920:  Racine, Racine County, Ward 11, Wisconsin

       - Age in 1920 Census:  34

       - Birth Year: 1885

       - Born in: Illinois
