After the prolonged sickness passed away on last Saturday. One of the pioneers of Poles in Chicago, late August Trzebiatowski, living at the number 3238 Monticello Ave., in St. Jack parish. Late August Trzebiatowski arrived in America on the 18th of July, in 1868. His wedding was of 26th of January 1873, in the church of St. Stanislas Kostka (Stanislaw Kostka). The church wasn't finished those time.

• * Rosalia 1900 US CENSUS information matches a birth certificate we received from Cook County for an un-

    named female, who was born February 21, 1880.

On the Birth Cert it was noted that Rosalia was the 4th child. Assuming Teofil was one of the children, he would be first born. That would leave another child to be accounted for.

Immigration: We were unable to find a ship's Passenger List, showing August Trzebiatowski as a passenger. One thing for sure is he didn't swim. There is a Antandoe Trzebiatowski, who arrived 2 JUN 1868. He was born in 1846 and was 22 when he arrived in the USA. This fits with age, but the name and date are different. People have been known to change their name when others found it difficult to pronounce or spell. Further research is needed to determine what ship and port were used for his voyage.
