About Thomas Bent

American Revolutionary Soldier.

"He was mortally wounded during the British retreat from Concord on the first day of the American Revolution, one of fifty Americans either killed or mortally wounded on that day. He died of his wounds over three months after the fighting of April 19, 1775, at the age of sixty-nine. Buried in Old North Cemetery, Wayland, Middlesex, Massachusetts."
