He became a freeman on 2 June 1641 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He was a leather dresser and glover in Boston. He served in 1647 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, as a Constable. He died about May 1667 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He left a will on 25 May 1667 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The date on his will was 25 March 1667. His estate was probated on 18 June 1667 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Anne emigrated to America with her husband Thomas on 4 May 1635 from London on the ship "Abigail". Anne's age on the manifest was 24, while Thomas was listed as 32.
Anne's brother, Abraham Harding, is the subject of the book mentioned above.
