(III) Thomas Carleton, son of John Carleton, was born at Bradford or Haverhill, about 1665. He resided at Bradford. He married Elizabeth .

20.  Thomas Carleton esq. of Bedford, Middlesex Co, Mass. was born in 1667, he  married Elizabeth Kimball, (More often seen as Elizabeth Haseltine) and died in 1734 having had issue four sons and three daughters viz;

1. a. Thomas
2. b. George, born 1702, married Mary?? had issue Samuel, born in 1726. Four other sons, and three daughters. George was an Ensign in the Army and died in 1783.
3. c. Ebenazer, born 1703.
4. d. John, born in 1709, number 21.
5. e. Ruth, married W. Hutchins born 1700
6. f. Elizabeth, born 1706
7. g. Sarah, married Jeremiah Stickney
