Thomas Earl Anthony

Thomas Earl was born Saturday, October 9, 1897.Thomas was baptized at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Leavenworth, Kansas on Sunday, October 31, 1897. Tiny and Mary Maritolli were his Godparents. In 1918 he was a machine operator at Abernathy Furniture Factory, Leavenworth, Kansas. When he was 20 years old, he enlisted in the war. In 1930, he was married to Eva M. and lived in St. Joseph, Missouri. At that time, he was a construction checker (inspector at a construction site).Tommy was a chef, working 6 months in Maryland and 6 months in Florida. He had lived in Ft. Lauderdale for about 12 years. He was married to Agnes. They divorced. She had one daughter. Thomas had no children of his own. He retired in Ft. Lauderdale and continued living there until his death. Thomas died on Friday August 16, 1963 at 11:40am at the Lauderdale Beach Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He had been ill about a month. He was 65. The Cause of death was cirrhosis of the liver due to Alcoholism. His body was taken to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for Burial. He was buried on Tuesday, August 20, 1963 at 3pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Fannin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
