The information on Elizabeth Shrite and their children came from Bruce Matson and he received it from Kathryn Goddard Meyer, the caretaker of the American branch of the Goddard Association of Europe.

Theory that Thomas Goddard married Elizabeth Shrite is based on a deed dated 18 Mar 1794 from Henry Shrite to Thomas Goddard, his "brother in Law" for love and affection. Not conclusive - Henry could have married a sister of Thomas.

On the internet I found her named spelled as "Sprite". This was submitted by Bob Hileman at 725 N.W. 15th Street Moore, OK 73160.
