Thomas A. GOODENOW was born about 1555. All dates are also within "Goodenows" published by the Goodenow Family. Spellings are extremely variant. According to this extensive genealogy, members of the immigrant family that came to America are: John, Thomas, Edmund, Ursula and Dorothy. John died leaving only female heirs. Edmund remained in Sudbury and Thomas rem. to Marlboro, one of its original founders. Goodnow Mountain and Goodnow River in the Adirondacks, Goodnow, Illinois and Goodnow Hills in Washington state stand as testimony to their migrations westward. He died on 6 Feb 1617 in Dunhead, St. Andrew, Wilts, Eng.
