Biographical Summary:
Thomas Hill (1820-1887)[written to his children] . . . and that as soon as I was able to gather with the Church to do so. I then made my way to St Louis Missouri where I Staid untill the Spring of 1853. at this place I was married to your Mother Alice Mellor. we Started for Utah 1853 and arrived in Salt Lake City in the Same year. . . .
