Will
By the inventory of the estate of Thomas Hurlbut, of Wethersfield, dated March 6, 1689 (Probate Court Records, Hartford). Appended to the Inventory, are the names of his wife and three children.
He left widow Elizabeth, and sons Timothy (9 years), Nathaniel (7 years), and Ebenezer (4 years), besides an older son Thomas Jr. His brother Stephen was appointed administrator. [1]
Death
He died in 1689 and is buried in the Wethersfield Village Cemetery.

He married second Elizabeth[1] Wallis.
The information regarding his wives and children disagree with Jacobus' Families of Old Fairfield 1:15-17 from 2008. Jacobus said that The Hurlbut Genealogy make three Thomas Hurlbuts when there were only two, comprising the immigrant Thomas and his son Thomas born in 1650. Are there reliable sources (other than The Hurlbut Genealogy that differs from Families... that show all three?
Jacobus and others have conflated the three generations of Thomas Hurlbut, so be careful in assigning transactions and records to these individuals.
