Speculation on some of the names in the following 1850 census:
Betsey - born the same year as eldest daughter Rachel, she apparently is Thomas' 2nd wife, Elizabeth McConnell Lewis.
Zimri/Irwin - Looking at the census image, I interpret this as Zimri because I've seen the name in various places, listed as a child of Thomas and Prudence. Whoever transcribed the image for familysearch.com interpreted it as Irwin. I'm going with Zimri but there is little to document either interpretation.
Laury Lewis - Her age shows she was born about 1846, after the death of Thomas' 1st wife Prudence in 1841 and so the daughter of his 2nd wife Betsey. The geni listing that seems to match “Laury” on approximate birthdate and approximate name is Lavicia Prudence Lewis.
David L. Lewis - His age shows he was born about 1849. He likely is Thomas' grandson, the son of Isaac Waldrip Lewis.
