Thomas LIMPUS was born c1762

8 October 1782, Thomas was convicted of the theft of a handkerchief and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Goree, Africa in December 1782 on "Benkiasa"

In August 1783 Thomas returned to England and was recaptured. Thomas was convicted of returning from transportation and sentenced to transportation for life.

In March 1784 he was sent on "Mercury" for America. He was recaptured after the convict mutiny and against convicted of returning from transportation and sentenced to transportation for life

He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Charlotte"

4 March 1790 Thomas was sent to Norfolk Island

13/9/1796 received a conditional pardon

Thomas died 1801 Norfolk Island
