About Thomas Herring Lincoln, Jr.
Aka "Tommy".
Tommy Lincoln was buried originally in the George Redmond Family Cemetery on a knoll overlooking the Lincoln farm near Hodgenville, Larue Co., KY. The profile picture shows the original grave marker discovered for Thomas "Tommy" Herring Lincoln, Jr. Analysis of the letters "T" and "L" carved into the stone match exactly with other engraved letters (in cabinetry) of Abraham Lincoln's father, Thomas. The evidence would certainly point to Thomas Lincoln, Sr. carving these initials on little Tommy's gravestone. The grave marker is now on display at the Nancy Lincoln Inn next to the Birthplace.
Photo of his grave and headstone is at: Find A Grave Memorial # 10685645.
