Son of Jonathon Prater and Lyle Jane (Mackay) Prater. Thomas married in about 1695, Prince Georges County, Maryland, Martha Sprigg. He died about 1712 at his Orphans Gift ("Northampton") Plantation, Prince George County, Maryland. Will is dated 13 December 1711 and Probate dated 15 March 1712, Prince Georges, Maryland.
