These two early settlers do not seem to have been related. Thomas Wright came to Guilford about 1670 ....
Thomas Wright died in Guilford, New Haven Co., CT, on 6 Dec 1692, and his wife Sarah Allen (Benton) died in Guilford on 25 Dec 1692 (Barbour Collection of Connecticut Town Vital Records, White, Lorraine Cook, Editor. Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., Baltimore, MD, v. 16, 1999, Guilford Vital Records 1639-1850).
Inventory of Thomas Wright of Guilford, d. 2 Dec 1692, lists "Children Mary 19 yr old, Danll 16, Mercy 12, Mehitabell 8, Abott 4 (New Haven, CT, probate, https://www.familysearch.org, film 5294, v. 2, p. 128-129, June Court 1693). Inventory £362:07s:04p, and debts due for estate £15:09s:03p. Also a right to a fourth division of land for 134 acres not laid out.
