Thomas le Marchant

Biography

Thomas le Marchant was born in Guernsey. His parents were Honourable John le Marchant, Jurat and Collette de Beauvoir.

Thomas married Collette Gosselin. Together they had the following children:

• Thomas le Marchant;
• Peter le Marchant;
• Elizabeth le Marchant;
• Sarah le Marchant;
• Collette le Marchant.

Thomas, the eldest son of John, married Collette, daughter of Hellier Gosselin, Bailiff, by whom he had issue two sons, Thomas, who married and had issue, and Peter, who died S. P. ; and three daughters, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Collette.
