Thomas of Galloway is the son of Alan son of Roland, Lord of Galloway, and Margaret, daughter of David of Huntingdon. The Scots Peerage IV: p. 141 He is not the same person as Thomas illegitimate son of Alan of Galloway of Galloway who was his bastard brother.
