Transcript of an act. Ithaca 1854 January … Spyridon Kalantzis son of Dimitrios from Lefki has presented a female child and declared that she was born on 5 December 1853 at 3.00 pm in his house from Trisevgeni Talala daughter of Spyridon and of himself Kalatzis both married in legal wedlock. I the Rev and Vicar of the church of Agios Nikolaos have christened this child and the godmother was Ekaterini Vlassopoulou daughter of Ioannis of this village, this child was named Varvara Irini.

Witnesses Panos Depalermas son of Konstantinos and Ioannis Paizis son of Konstantinos from this area have signed, the parents being illiterate.
