About Vicente Manapat
Vicente Manapat was a Filipino doctor and politician. He served as a congressman for 2nd District of Pampanga from 1922 to 1925.
Work on this line was suspended (by this Malabon de Sevilla family genealogist) this year pending cross-checking of actual life event records. The 1977 manuscript 'Ang Kasaysayan ng Lahing Sevilla ng Malabon-Navotas' and some family trees list Francisca, Vicente, and Jose as being the children of Lucas Bagtas Manapat and Victoriana Roque de Sevilla. Other family records list them as being the children of Lucas and a Cecilia Alejandrino. Actual life event records verify that 1) Lucas married Filomena Roque de Sevilla on 15 January 1874; 2) Francisca was born in 1877; 3) Lucas married Filomena's sister, Victoriana, on 29 January 1879; and 4) Lucas and Cecilia Alejandrino had a son, Vicente Maria Eduardo, who was christened on 18 October 1884.
Hence, to date, the Malabon de Sevilla genealogy notes have it (based on located life event records) that Lucas had 3 wives: Filomena (with whom he had Francisca), Victoriana (no children), and Cecilia (with whom he had Vicente).
The profiles of his children Vicente and Jose (and their descendants) will stay as they are; the Malabon de Sevilla family genealogists will update only the profiles falling under the line of Francisca Sevilla Manapat-Sevilla.
