Victor Horta was a Belgian architect and designer. He is known as the key Art Nouveau architect.
He is the son of Petrus Horta and Henrica Coppieters
He was married twice:
- Pauline Heyse (Belgian, ex-wife), and their daughter Simone Horta
- Julia Carlsson (Swedish)
In 1932 King Albert I of Belgium conferred on Horta the title of Baron for his services to architecture.
